the best way IS tweezers!. I'm sorry you were unable to get it out!. Do you have any friends/neighbors/relatives that are nurses [or docs]!? They usually have a bit of a steady hand and can help!. You'll need a magnifying glass to help you see the exact shard!. I wouldn't attempt to do it yourself because you could lodge it in deeper!. Your body will naturally try to "digest" the foreign particle [with an inflammatory response], but it is better to get the particle out physically if you can!. Maybe you can pay a visit to your local clinic and they can help you get it out!. Oh, and please rub the area with disinfectant [rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide will do] as well as dip the tweezers in the disinfectant before using it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to go to the Doctor because the doctor can go deep into your skin where it is they will take some tweezers a special kind and the tweezers will go deep into your skin first they have to make a hole in there so big enough that they can see the glass it might hurt a little but u have to take it and when they r done they will put medicine{achohol} on it they will send u home with a band-aid on it and in and hours or when they get done it wont hut iny more because some doctors will fix your foot and it wont hurt they will tell u no to walk out side with no shoes because my cousin got alot of glass in her foor it was bleeding like crazy and she went to the hospital they looked in her foot nothing was in there she was crying loud she wouldn't stop she was screaming but the doctor said nothing is in there and when we got home we put achohall on it and your skin will go over it and it wil be harder to get it out the y will cut your foot open lok in and pull it out quick and it wil hurt when they take it they will probaly take it out slow because they wont it to hurt so i think they just goinna do it slow so they can see it because some doctor dropped glass into my foot and he still didnt take it out but another doctor did they will get cotton balls por paroxide on it and then they will put somekind of band aid on it and it will still bleed like crazy but u cant mess with it or it will get deeper into your ksin if u dont have any shoes or flip flops or something like that go to the store and but u a pair of sandals that u like to wear swo nothing will get in your foot they will make u feel bad and try to say what were u doing trying to chase soemthign they will try to be slick and u take it as a joke and they will tle u to buy sandals to to protect your foot form danger that people drop in your yard and he will say keep the bandaid on and in 2 hours take it off and see if its bleeding put another one on it and wile u do that put poroxideo n it it wil get all the infection out of your fut from the glassWww@Answer-Health@Com
