Ok, well I'm a licensed Pharmacist so all these guys are referring to me, lol!. Some drugs have what is called a 'Narrow Therapeutic Range', like warfarin, a blood thinner, used as rat poison, or heparin, the drug that almost killed those new infants of a movie star recently!. Another one is digoxin made from the pretty flowing plant, Foxglove!. At regular dosage digoxin is used to regulate heart rythmn but just 1 pill more and it can easily CAUSE a dangerous heart rythmn leading to heart attack and quick death!. Foxglove is famous for being the poison elixir of choice in Shakesperian stories!.

Anyways, lucky for you Tramadol does not have a narrow therapeutic range, so 1 pill more is unlikely to cause permanent injury!. Avoid alcohol and driving/using equipment and sleep it off tonite!. You will notice moderate to severe constipation tomorrow so drink enough fluids to help with that!.

It does have nasty side-effects that could put a dysfunctional or stressed liver or kidney over the edge, for example, causing possibly permanent and irreversable damage to already weakened or compromized organs and systems!. These cases are rare in normal healthy adults, but if you are not and any of this is hitting home, better contact your provider tomorrow and see if any follow-up labs might be necessary!.

This is generally the same advice for any mistake in taking any prescription, and even over-the-counter medications!. Check with your local retail or even hospital pharmacist to have them assess the incident and be prepared to contact your prescriber!.

In some cases, inducing emesis ( vomiting) is the thing to do, but in some cases that is the totally wrong thing to do!. If this happens after business hours, another free resource is also your regional Poison Control Center, (PCC), if you live in United States, (dont know about other countries)!. 911 should be able to hook you up to a center!. 411 or a google search is another way, also calling your local hospital ER for advice or the regional PCC is another option for help deciding what to do immediately!. PCCs are 24/7 free public services!.

Hope this helps!

So far as I can ascertain the dosage you have ingested is only 50mg above the average daily dosage and is unlikely to cause you harm!. However, should you develop any unexplained symptoms you should seek medical advice!. It's never a good idea to exceed to prescribed dose of any drug since any damage may not be immediately apparent!. I suggest you do not take any more today until having first checked with a Pharmacist or other medical professional!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably will not die in your sleep or anything like that, you'll probably feel high/woozy on the painkillers!. People take really large doses of painkillers to get high all the time and they are alive to tell the tale!.

If you're worried, I would stay awake if you can, so you know how you feel!. I'm sure you won't but DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL, Tramadol and alcohol do react to each other!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will be completely fine!. Tramadol is a synthetic opiate- you would have to take MUCH more than 150mg to feel sick, have nausea, or even have any reaction at all!.

Tramadol is very safe!. I wouldn't worry at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're going to be very drowsy - and remember you can only take 300ml a day so you will have to cut them back a bit through the day!. Always worth a call to your pharmacist or doctors surgery though just to be sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have they worked yet lol, nah seriously go and lie down but try to stay awake, you should be fine in 3-4 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
