What causes pins n needles?!

Depending on where the "pins and needles" are it could mean several things however the main cause of this is an interference in nerve conduction!. The nerve can be impinged (pinched) by many things!. If the sensation goes down an entire limb it is probably "pinched" by the bones of your spine!. If it starts somewhere else like your elbow or wrist and travels down then it could be "pinched" by muscles, inflammation/swelling, or scar tissue!.
