I found a perscription pill in by back pocket from a while back, i gues it had been there a while because it was all ground up into powder!. I threw it out but i was wondering what effect snorting ground up painkillers, or any type of medication would have compared to taking it orally!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
you minimise the effect of the painkiller so significantly it becomes ineffective so its not the best way to adminiser your prescription! also by snorting the powder this can really damage the epitherial cells in the back of your nose and throat, and makes this area more suseptable to infection!. not a good idea in all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know someone that had surgery and decided to snort his pain pills, and he became very addicted!. When he would snort them he would go into a dead state of mind!. He could not function!. He then would snort anything at any time!. Snorting pills are quicker to react and they have a higher potency when snorted, instead of running through you blood stream being thinned out they go directly to the brain!. A horrible idea!. He was addicted within a day!. He is now currently in jail due to the snorting addiction!. My advise don't snort anything ever!Www@Answer-Health@Com
