First of all, do not pick or scratch the blisters!. Also, do not peel the skin!. This can cause infections!.

If he is still warm to the touch, take ibuprofen every 6 - 8 hours!. This takes the "fever" out and also dull the pain and relieve any puffiness/swelling!. Also, keep the area well moisturized!. I also like putting some wet towels in a big ziplock baggie and putting them in the fridge, so you can pull them out and lay them on the skin!. Try an aloe after sun lotion or a lidocaine lotion for some heavy duty moisturizing, and keep this in the fridge too!. The cooling effect is wonderful!.

It usually only takes 2 - 5 days for the redness to fade out, and he will most likely peel!. Once it gets to this stage, gently exfoliate every 2 - 3 days and keep moisturizing!.

Most important, don't forget to use sunblock next time!Www@Answer-Health@Com

thats a sign of a 3rd degree sunburn so its really serious!.
treat the blisters just like you would any other blister, and you can use aloe vera for pain relief!.
also theres this stuff called solarcain!.!.!.its medicated for cuts and can be used for sunburn relief, so it'll take the edge off the burn pain while treating the blisters!.

next time he goes out though, make sure he uses sunscreen religiously!. ppl who burn that badly are more likely to get skin cancer in the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it's blistering you might need to see a doctor!. I'm surprised nobody hasn't already mentioned tea tree and aloe vera, use one of these, the absolute best thing would be to buy and aloe vera plant and squeeze the gel out of the leaves, then it would be pure gel, but if you can't get hold of the plant then I'm sure your local chemist will do one, go for aloe vera gel!. Or if they don't have aloe vera use a tea tree gel!. Tell him to take it easy next time and put cream on, lesson learnt I think!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

alo vera is very helpful and also at any drug store they have a "cooling ointment" and that helps for pain!.
There is no way to make it COMLEATLY heal excep time!.!.!.it will probably take 2-3 weeks for it to go away!.!.!.!.USE ALOE EVERYNIGHT!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try an ice pack to soothe the pain also!. Careful with showers and baths, he'll want to make sure the water isn't too hot or else that will hurt really bad!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well it just takes time to heal but to stop the pain it is good to use aloe which is a plantWww@Answer-Health@Com
