Question: Carpel tunnel surgery!?
I am scheduled to have this surgery in the next week!. My question is to all, will this surgery benefit me in the long run!? I have been dealing with this discomfort for over 20 years and finally am taking care of it prior to my retirement!. I cannot wait to have the numbness go away and to actually sleep thru the night!.!.!.I would like anyone's comment on their own experience good/bad pertaining to the surgeryWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hello!. I work in hand surgery and have seen many patients go thru the surgery and I have had the surgery for Carpal Tunnel as well!. It worked 100% and I had no more problems!. Sometimes when you have had it a long time as you say you have, it can take longer for the numbness to go away because your nerve has been trapped so long!. However you will have results right away!. I hope you do well and the recovery is not long!. Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good luck with the surgery!. My mother is going to have it done this month too, and im worried about her, but i know it will help the numbness go away, because countless times shes been upset over the effects of it!. I told her ill help out as best i can, so hopefully she'll be ok!. Thank you for your question, its opened my eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

of course but be strong at heart
you will need some patience but you will get relief
its a long time to bear a disease
this surgery will benefit you ofcourse
because this surgery is done to Relieve ue entraped median nerve in ur carpel tunnel which gets compressed and giev symptoms of numbness but if you are overwieght
try to control by low intensity exercise
and take low calorie food and also look for other factors related to the diseaseWww@Answer-Health@Com

My mother had surgery on both wrists and it helped immensely!. It was about 8-10 years ago and she is completely pain free!. And she still has the same job where she is on the computer constantly!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
