I went to the doctors to get some sort of surgery done, and i was more nervous about getting blood then the actualy procdure!. Well when the doctor called me back to get my blood taken, i almost started crying! But then as i was looking through the room she put the needle in, and i was like!.!.!.!.!.!."thats it!?!" its was so embarassing!.
Getting a needle in your upper arm hurts worse then getting blood taken!. But no, needles in genral do not hurt its just a little sting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm terrified of blood tests!. I always pass out!. And its not as bad as i make it out to be!. There is a slight pinch!. Bring an ipod or music to listen to so you are distracted!. Ask to lay down if you are afraid of passing out and make sure your feet are higher than your head!. Also there are patches you can get at the drug store if you talk to a pharmacist that numbs the area on your arm!. But they can be tricky because they sometimes have to poke around to look for a vein!. Talk to the pharmasist about that option!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yeah, the needle hurts a bit when entering the skin, but the pain is bearable!. It feels better when you relax and focus on another sensation besides the needle!. It always helps me when I breathe slowly and only think about my breaths!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
dont pay attention to some of these answers!. it is just a little pin prick and it only stings for a few seconds!. just close your eyes and dont watch them doing it to you!. it's easy, dont worry!. i have had paper cuts that hurt a lot worse and a lot longer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The tests aren't as bad as the shots because once they prick you you don't feel any pain!. Shots however can be painful because sometimes the injection is cold, or it stings when they put it in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it's a needle going through your skin, it's not a "pleasant feeling" but it usually isn't horrible!. Mainly it just stings for a minute!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
