I burnt my thumb and its so painful!!!?!

Question: I burnt my thumb and its so painful!!!!?
I burnt my thumb when i was getting ready for school, i picked the hairstraightners up on the heated part (i didnt mean to) and i just froze and i couldnt let go (felt like ages but prob just 15 - 20 seconds), and i was in so much pain and i couldnt stop shacking that i havent gone to school (even though i really wanted to)!. What can i do to get rid of the lump / burn and the pain!?

I burnt myself just over 1 year ago on a school trip in paris, my friend straightened my finger, lol she didnt mean to she was straighening my hair lol!. and i couldnt move my finger for over 2 weeks :O but todays burn feels alot worse !

This sounds a bit odd, but if you put a plaster over the burn, the pain will go away!.
Its the air that makes it sting!. Try it, it does work!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The burn needs to be put under cold water for the first few minutes!. Obviously you can't do much about that now, regardless of whether you did or did not do it then!.

The thing I'd suggest is to rub aloe vera oil or lotion on the burn, this will reduce any scarring should it happen!. However this wont do much for the pain!.

The only way you can help the pain is painkillers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Owww! Suck it dear! Burns are nasty aren't they!? I have a friend who works on a production line soldering things together and he sometimes gets splashes of hot metal on his fingers or arms!. He says he kicks the desk to take his mind off it!. (Not that I'm suggesting you do that!. I'm just saying that's what he does)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A natural theory!!!!
Pluck leaves of sunflower or Gaindha!.!.!.wash them!.!.!.!.!.Consequently,,chew them,!.!.!.and appy it with the saliva on the place of wound for 15-40 min!. >>Surely,,the pain will flew to hell and u'll feel quite comfortable with the thumb hencewhile!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's not a freakin question!. It's a sob story, suck it up and spit on it Sis!Www@Answer-Health@Com
