I have sleeping issues?!


Question: I have sleeping issues!?
i work 3 long days a week all about 12 hour shifts then i have the rest of the week off but it seems the days when i need to get to sleep are the days i cant sleep so i spend my whole day feeling like crap at workWww@Answer-Health@Com

It could be depression - or, there could be another problem!. I'd consider making an appt!. with a counselor & get evaluated for your sleeplessness!.

Regardless, here are some tips that may help: Avoid any caffeinated beverages (tea, pop, coffee, chocolate, etc!.) for a time period before going to bed (I'd suggest none of these things after, say, about 6:30 p!.m!.)!. If you're a smoker, don't smoke any cigs!. for a couple hours before going to bed!. Drink some warm milk about 1/2 hour before going to bed!. AVOID any alcohol, for it's been proven to disrupt a good night's sleep!. I'd avoid pills, also; unless / until a doc!. / counselor / psychiatrist (psychiatrists prescribe meds!. for depression) recommends it!. Many pills out there may help out the current problem at hand; but, cause you a couple new problems due to the side effects!. Turn off T!.V!. and / or radio, or any other noise disturbances!.

Try drinking milk with bananas it helps you go to sleep it makes some chemical that programs your body to sleep!. Try reading a book before you go to sleep that helps!. Don't watch tv or be on the computer just before you go to sleep that dosen't help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would take a tablespoon of cod liver oil everyday and also take 1000 milligrams of calcium/magnesium every night!.
Also, I believe that sleep disturbances might be related to a spleen imbalance (chinese medicine)!.!.!.i would go see an accupuncturist!.
