You may want to ask your Doctor about Tramadol for pain!. I have not experienced the extent of pain that you described and did not have to take too much of the stuff for very long!. Also, the Tramadol didn't make me feel dopy or dizzy!.!.!.lucky I guess!. Because of my curiosity, I checked out the web for side effects of the filter and medications!. I found reports of filter side effects e!.g!. local irriation and in the worst case, filter migration!. A simple sonogram in the doc's office can determine if there is decent blood flow thru the area!. If you have this done, ask them to show you the color views!.!.pretty neat!. Anyway, you can read up on this!.!.!.just google greenfield filter!. I found it easier to understand the doctor and felt better that I didn't waste too much of his time!. Actually, we became very good friends!. Finally, I was cautioned about taking any meds or eating greens and foods that can affect the clotting process!. My guess is that you may be on coumadin like me!. Hope you feel better!. I have included a couple of web sites that I found interesting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

WOW!.!. my son -in- law had that to 3 weeks ago
try this>># Avoid sitting for long periods!. Get up and walk around every hour or so, or flex your feet often!.
# Get moving as soon as you can after surgery!.
# When you travel, drink extra fluids!. But avoid drinks with alcohol or caffeine!.
# Wear compression stockings if you are at high risk!.
# If you take blood thinners, take them just the way your doctor tells you to!.!.!.good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
