OK. So i got my left ear peirced around Feb. 17-08 at Claires. Its june 6th. Why!
Question: OK!. So i got my left ear peirced around Feb!. 17-08 at Claires!. Its june 6th!. Why does it still hurt!?
My right ear was already peirced so its fine!. But its now June 6th and my left ear hurts alot!. Everytime i try to take it out, It gets swollen and creates pain!. I put ice on it but that doesnt help at all!. My parenst know about this but tell me not to worry about it!. It usually hurts for like 10 minutes but now it will hurt for 3 hours or more!. What should i do!? Should i see a doctor!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be an allergic reaction or sensitivity reaction!. its only been 4 months, so im imagining that when you're taking it out, you're putting another post-earring in your ear!.!. but id just stick with one for now and leaving it alone!. just make sure you clean your ears EVERY morning thoroughly, EVERY night thoroughly, and sometime in between JUST for good measure!. try not to irritate it, so have your hair pulled back and try sleeping on your back and not on your side!. if you dont want to go to the doctor yet, id suggest doing those things to see if maybe its just poor hygiene in the right ear!. also when you put antiseptic on your ear, put some antiseptice on your fingers (after a clean washing) and twirl and push your earring back and forth!.
so number 1 is of course, see a doctor, but if not, clean it a whole-heck of a lot! (but not too much cuz you dont want to irritate it a lot and so id say, dont exceed three/four times!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may just be sensitive!. My first piercings (in the lobe, when I was12) hurt for about 15 minutes!. My second piercings (higher up in the lobe), hurt for about 2 weeks!. My final piercing (in the cartilege of my right ear, very high, on top) hurt for about a year!. And I couldn't sleep on that side, although sometimes I cupped my hand around it!.
I told myself I'd give it a year, and it took about 50 weeks to stop hurting!. If it gets infected now, it hurts some more!.
It's a lot of trouble for piercings, hmm!?
Just make sure (1) it's not infected, and (2) that you're not allergic to the metal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Listen to me CLAIRES is evil all my friends who went there orginally to get their ears pierced got ear infections !.!.!. i suggest let them heal if you are really worried see you doctor but once they are healed go to a different place to get them done!. When me and my friends got ours done they marked where they were going to do it with pen so we think the pen gave us all ear infections and it the ink seeped into the hole not to mention the fact they dont wash there equipment !Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, see a doctor!. You may have an ear infection!. Are you using 14k gold!? Possibly you are allergic to the wire!. I know somebody who got her ears pierced then after she took them out and put it wire earrings (when she should've started out with 14k gold) and she got an ear infections!. Now she only wears 14k gold for that reason!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is probably infected!. Also some peoples ears are sensitive to some materials!. Check the kind of earrings you wear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
