Question: Is 100 mg of Demoral a lot!?

I'm just curious because the dr gave me that much in an injection for a migraine, and 100 just sounded like a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on your body weight, the severity of the pain, and any prior experience you may have had with narcotics!. FWIW, the usual starting dose for Demerol is 50 - 100 mg IM (injection in the butt) or 5 - 10 mg IV!. So to answer your question, it's not too high a dose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
