Azithromycin side effects?!
Question: Azithromycin side effects!?
I'm taking this for a strep infection, and I'm on day 3 of a 5 day pack!. I take it on an empty stomach, like I'm supposed to, but when I eat, this stuff makes me horribly nauseous and gives me really bad gas!. Like the kind of gas that makes your stomach painfully bloated!. It doesn't appear to be working on the infection, cause it still hurts and there are still spots on my throat!. But I can't call the doctor's office until Monday!.!.!.
Should I keep taking them!? Or stop and wait until I call on Monday!?

Keep taking them until you contact the doctor!. Really you should have received relief by now unless it is viral then you have to let it run its course!. Antibiotics do not help viral infections!.
Rinse with Listerine, Gargle with warm salt water and get lots of fluids!. I feel for you!. My 6 year old daughter got over this a month ago!. It is rough but you will too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That seems to be a side effect!.!.!.but I think you're supposed to call your dr!. when you have side effects!. I'm sure he has an answering service and will call you back!.!.or have someone else return your call!. I wouldn't wait till Monday!. Hope you get better soon!
