Answers:
People with no restraint are demanding people but often misunderstood, what they do could be a cry for help but others cannot read the signs, I agree with the not banning of cigarette's as I smoke myself, I started aged 37 I am now 46 so you see the body calls for something at all ages, I chose smoking instead of drugs or being a drunkard again, it is hard to improve someones life who has PTSD, they are in the bottom of the pit of life as we call it, our medication makes us drowsy for a while but then reality kicks back in!.
As for your last comment we are tax payers, we served our country and receive pensions so we pay our 10% towards health and care, thanks for the question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it is a little harsh use such a blanket approach to those who use NHS services!.
It can be very difficult for people to break away from their cultural backgrounds!. For some people living off the benefit is a career choice, following in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents!.
Amongst the retired people of this country, it is the lucky ones who don't pay regular visits to their doctors and NHS pharmacies!. Gentlemen who fought for our country were given cigarettes at the front as part of their ration!. Smoking was then thought to be healthy, then and later!.
Healthy choice of food again seems to follow fashion!. Hypothyriodism and polycystic ovaries are health conditions can lead to weight gain and lethargy!.
Life is complicated !.
What would you like NHS budgets to be spent on!? Administration!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The list goes on, Also, Who thinks this free swimming gimmick will get the lard arses out of their armchairs, !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I agree with all the above!. If being healthy, stopping smoking, eating/drinking too much were so easy, there wouldn't be so much of a problem would there!? Why is brown bread more expensive than white!? And do you agree that the nhs should pay for interpreters or should people be expected to learn the language of the country they are living in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Education, education, education is the only way, not blaming or putting those people down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Following are the Causes of Diabetes
Hereditary or Inherited Traits : It is strongly believed that is due to some genes which passes from one generation to another!. It depends upon closeness of blood relationship as mother is diabetes risk is 2 to 3%, father is diabetic risk is more than the previous case and if both the parents are diabetic, it has much greater risk for diabetes!.
Age : Increased age is a factor which gives more possibility than in younger age!. This disease may occur at any age, but 80% of cases occur after 50 year, incidences increase as age do in this group!.
Poor Diet (Malnutrition Related Diabetes) : Improper nutrition, low protein and fibre intake, high intake of refined products are the expected reasons for developing diabetes!.
Obesity and Fat Distribution : Being overweight means increased insulin resistance, that is if body fat is more than 30%, BMI 25+, waist grith 35 inches in women or 40 inches in males!.

Smokers already do pay a contribution, they give the goverment billions, every year! Your question seems a little patronising! so if you drive and youre in an accident its your fault too!? Its a so called free country, and people can smoke drink and eat what they want, most of us have worked hard all our lives and pay national insurance, we also get taxed to death!. I also know a lot of people who have never smoked yet have cancer, and people who eat healthy and are slim and have got diabetes!. So your comments are not fair!!!! One more thing, you had a go at smokers, overeaters, what about the drug addicts!? if thats not self inflicted i dont know what is!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Diabetes is not always from life choices - my dad got it simply because he was old!.
Will I be expected to pay!? I have asthma which is worsened by bleach/washing powder etc but I choose to clean my house!. I also have hay fever but I choose to live in a place that has a lot of grass and trees!.
a lot of cancers can be traced to some ingredient or occupation these days, so shall we let people die whilst we determine the exact cause of their illness!?
When you have an ulcer from rushing your meals so you can get back on here, will you expect treatment!.
What we could do is regiment everyones diet, excercise regime, habits, work, and so on from the instant of birth to their death!. And everyone should pay exactly the same national insurance, and even if they never get sick they should have an operation just so they get their fair share of resources!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

But smokers already pay a huge amount of tax which supports the NHS!. I think they should tax junk food just as highly!.
But where would you draw the line!?
Such as sex change ops, self inflicted wounds, infertility caused by STDs, STDs themselves, drunks who fall over and hurt themselves, drug addicts who OD, drivers who crash, people that drink too much and get ill from drinking or even maybe children who are born ill because it's a choice to get pregnant isn't it!?
You see we all make life choices that effect our health!. Even them that are jogging and twist their ankle are directly to blame for their own choice surely!?
You take a risk by waking up and leaving the house, driving to work and eating lunch!. See what I mean!? If you don't keep the ethos of Cradle to Grave then you should just get rid of the whole of the NHS and go to the American system of insurance!. Then the poor & old would suffer more!.
