Why do I get painful leg [calf] cramps so easily?!
Question: Why do I get painful leg [calf] cramps so easily!?
I'm in really good shape and always work out, but ever since I was little I have a high tendency to get these painful cramps in my calfs, sometimes even my toes!. It's really painful!. What can cause these!? or what can make me so prone to getting them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

keeping your leg straight point your toes toward the ceiling!. Hold that position for about 10 seconds and do this three times before you go to sleep!. Another exercises you can do is walk on your heels!. This will stretch out those tight muscles!. You should also take a multivitamin!. Usually anyone-any age that works out alot and gets leg cramps!.!.!.It is due to lack of potassium!.!.
Everyone watches to hydrate and get salt(NA) but too many athletes forget potassium!.!.Bananas, watermellon, green veggies!.!.potatoe skin!.!.All have lots of potassium!.!.
Make sure your sport drinks are high in potassium!.!.and cramps should stop!.!.
The balance of potassium and sodium is VERY important AND it co creates the electrical current which makes your heart beat too!.!.!.!.
