Problems with sleeping, please help?!


Question: Problems with sleeping, please help!?
The past few months I have been staying up untill like 4am in the morning

then not getting out of bed untill 3 in the afternoon

Because of this I have been regularly missing college

How can I get my normal sleep pattern back!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Something that helped me was using my bed for what it was intended for, which is sleep!. Don't lie in bed and watch tv or play games or read, do that ina chair, in the family room, anywhere but in your bed, and then when you're tired, go to your bed!. You're training your mind to associate your bed with sleep and nothing else!. Sounds out there, but it worked for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Remove what it is that makes you stay up from your room!.!.!. Lets say it is your School work, You try to go to sleep but then look at the pile that is looming before you on your desk!.!.!. Then you want to do that, and not sleep, plus if you move the work from your sleeping area , You won't feel tired while doing it because your bed won't distract you from it!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i used to have the same problem!. there are a few things that help make you tired!. things like making sure your room is dark!. even closing the blinds at night helps!. not eating close to bedtime!. not exercising!. what worked for me though, and it took will power, but i just stayed up straight through!. i messed around until 4 in the morning and when i started getting tired, i got up and worked on something that would keep me awake like cleaning my room or something like that!. even just walking around my house!. if it got too bad i'd take a 20 min power nap and make sure someone woke me up!. later on i crashed at 9 and got up around 5!. getting yourself in a schedule where you're asleep before ten and awake before around 6:30 makes you feel so much better!. getting your 8 hours from 9-5 gives you more energy than getting them from 11-7!. hope you get it straightened out! i know how bad it sucks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every night you should set a goal to get in bed at a certain time!.
If you are saying that you are going to bed at 4, try everynight to go to bed 30 minutes earlier and dont eat anything big after 1 hour till bed time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Will power! Force yourself to shut the computer down or turn the TV off!. Set an alarm and force yourself to get out of bed, and don't take naps during the day!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
