What should I do with my sprained wrist?!

Question: What should I do with my sprained wrist!?
I went to the ER after I fell on my wrist and arm, but the radiologist told me that it was just a sprain!. He said there might be a fracture that they couldn't see because of how bad the swelling was!. It's been about 5 days and I can move my wrist, but it gives me excruciating pain when I move it in certain ways!. I was going to follow up with an orthopedist!. What should my next step be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If the swelling has gone down and you are still experiencing excruciating pain, going to the orthopedist for follow up is a good idea!. He may want to do a follow up x-ray if there was any suspicion of fracture!. Until then, using something to splint your wrist and elevating it are appropriate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get you something to use as a splint and tape it to keep your wrist from moving!. get an xray if that dont help after about two weeks!. if it is a hairline fracture, they will just make you splint it anyway!. i know i had a fracture in my wrist, you can pick up a wrist splint at any medical store,Www@Answer-Health@Com
