Question: Any one got a miracle cure for cystitis, any suggestions on how to treat it would be welcome!?
Answers:
Avoid acidic food, like tomatoes, bananas, apples, oranges and lemons (grapefruit too) and drink lots of water, and milk, yoghurt is also suppose to be good (I dont personally like it) but there is also the frozen yoghurt, tastes more like icecream than anything else, inner health plus capsules will help so will yokult, but the main thing is to make sure you drink plenty of water and after any doona dancing, make sure you shower well, wear cotton underclothes and all should go away, hope that helps, goodluck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no miracle cure but you can avoid cystitis by drinking a glass of unsweetened cranberry juice daily and just get into the habbit of drinking lots of water everyday!.Once you have cystitis then you need a course of antibiotics although drinking a lot of water at this stage will eleviate the symptoms, the bacteria wont be destroyed without the antibiotics!. I hope this helps!.

p!.s make sure the cranberry juice is not mixed with other fruit juices eg apple etc as these only add more sugar to the drink and the bacteria tend to flourish even more!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are many over the counter medicines available but if you wanted to treat it naturally your best bet is Cranberry juice- all medicines will have cranberry extract so a juice (not from concentrate preferably) will treat it!. That and lots and lots of water, you just want to flush it out of your system!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
