Ear Lobe Piercing Question...?!

Question: Ear Lobe Piercing Question!.!.!.!?
OK so I really want to get my second hole in my ear lobe!. I am 15!.

1) which method is more sanitary, the gun or the needle!? which one hurts more!? when I was 7 i got my first holes done at Claire's with the gun but now I hear all this crap about them!.!.!.

2) What are the risks of injury (Keloids, infection, etc!.) with the needle vs!. the gun!?!?

3) I play Field Hockey in the fall (no piercings allowed in games, so I would have to have healed piercings at least during FH season), and I run track in the Winter and Spring (not sure about piercings), and I swim in the summer!. Which season would be best for me to get my ears done, and be reminded that it takes about 6 weeks for a piercing to heal!.

4) Should I go to Claire's, Piercing Pagoda, or a local Tattoo shop (in Northampton, MA)!?!?

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your help!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I have had all my ear piercings done with a gun!. But, like you, I have heard all the horror stories about the gun versus the a needle!. If I had to do it over, I would go to a good piercing shop and have the piercings done with a needle!. I had a cartilage piercing that was done with a gun that still gets sore sometimes and I had it done over a year ago!. I believe the needle piercings heal quicker!. Just make sure that you follow the cleaning and care instructions that you get from the piercer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1-GET THE GUN

2-The needle is very sanitary at Piercing Pagoda

3-The best time to get it would depend on what months are your sports seasons!. Most track teams dont allow earings!. try doing it when its not swimming weather!.

4-Piercing Pagoda, their people are more sanitary

Your Welcome :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
