Question: I have a stiff neck after suffering a heat induced headache!.!?
I have had a stiff neck for two days now!.
On Saturday i played golf in 110 degree heat!. This was the first sweltering day of the summer season!. Its safe to say i was not acclimated!. By the time we played the fifth hole, i felt like my head was going to explode!. I figure it was because of the heat!. I kept hydrated as much as possible!. I had many bottles of water!. The headache lasted the whole day!.
Two days lated ive noticed that ive had a stiff neck!. The area that is stiff or sore is where my neck meets my back around the spine area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

from your description it seems like you strained your muscle in your neck!.
That has happened to me before where it hurt to move my neck to a certain side!.
Use a hot and cold compress on your neck!. use a cold pack for 20 minutes several times a day followed by a hot pack, or a hot shower!.
Slowly stretching your neck from side to side and holding it for 30sec!. or just as long as you are comfortable with!.
also try bengay or icy-hot patches!.
in a day or two the pain and stiffness should subside!.
also try getting a gentle neck massage, to help loosen up your neck!.
