Question: Maybe a concussion!?!!?
Ok, so today i was swimming, and i was sorta laying across a raft and my head was down and i shot my head upwards and hit it on the side of the pool!. I didn't pass out or anything but i quickly got out and iced it for like 20 minutes!. I forgot about it but the spot is starting to hurt again!. It's a small bump on the side of my head above my ear and it hurts when i open my mouth widely!.
Is this a concussion you think!?
I am really scared because i heard if you have a concussion and you go to sleep, you might not wake up!.
I had a headache but now my head hurts around that area!.

You probly had a concussion!.!. Now you just have a bump on your head!. You should not go to sleep an hr or two after the concussion, but if its been longer than that, you are in the clearWww@Answer-Health@Com
You sound fine!. I got hit in the head with a baseball going about 75mph - that was a concussion! But if you didn't black out, even for a split second, and you didn't fall over or anything, you are probably fine!.

Sounds like just a bruise!. If you had massive cranial hemorrhaging, you'd probably be feeling nauseous and/or be dead by now!. Take some tylenol if it hurts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
