My suggestion would be to see a doctor!.

I have the same problem in my hips!.!.
From what you are describing it sounds as if you could have a mild hip dysplacia, and/or you may have a muscle/nerve problem in your back which may be the cause of your hip pain!.
The best thing to do is to go to your doctor and ask for (firstly) an X-ray, then an MRI!.!.
Mind you, I did have most scans done (even a full body bone scan) and nothing was noticed untill I went to a sports Physician and he sent me off for more scans and tests (eg!. nerve test)
Also if it still seems to be causing discomfort, I also suggest you go to hydrotherapy and/or Gym (to help strenghten your hips) and a Physio!.!. I went to physio and went on a traction machine, which helped my hips for a short period of time!.

It may/may not take a while to get in to have tests, get results, and all of that, but it's really worth it!.!.

And if you go to a doctor and don't get the results you wanted!.!. see another one!

If you can't get into a doctor for a while ask your chemist about anti inflamitory medicine and fish oils!?! as they can help for some people!.!.!.

Note: I am NOT a doctor, I do highly suggest you see one to help with your pain management!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, not to worry you, but please go to the doc!.
I had a friend long ago named Cathy, she had the same thing going on, she found out she had bone cancer, and died about 2 years later!. Please, it may be something simple, but it just made me think of her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be wear and tear! Depends on how much exercise you do!Www@Answer-Health@Com
