Symptoms of torn foot ligament?!
Question: Symptoms of torn foot ligament!?
Basically I twisted my ankle and it hurts too much, no swelling but it was bruised before now its not!. I went for x-ray they said no broken bone and sent me home!. What does this mean i have a torn ligament its next to my ankle and if it is how would the doctors know!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ligaments attach bone to bone at joints!. If you twisted your ankle and haven't broken it then you will have damaged the ligament!. The whole thing won't be torn, just some of the fibres!. The most common site is on the outside of the ankle and it will be painful around the bony lump where the ligament attaches!. Physiotherapy treatment is very useful to promote healing and for advice re exercises!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I twisted my foot i felt something pop!. it swelled straight away, by the time I got to A&E it was 3 times it's normal size, after an exray I was told no broken bones and told to walk on it!. I was unable to put my foot down for a week, the whole of my foot went blue and it didn't get back to normal for three months! All I could do was strap it up and keep taking pain killersWww@Answer-Health@Com
i have same problem right now!. Just wrap fairly tight with a bandage and ice over the top and keep ot elevated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
