What can I use instead of Percocet?!

Oxycodone ER, morphine sulphate, fentynal,all kinds of stuff!. They are only going to give you what they think is best, not what you want, trust me!.

Going in and telling the doctors what kind of pain medications you want isn't a very good idea!.

You can phrase this to your doctor and ask him for a better alternative!. Most narcotic medications do cause side effects such as nausea and dizziness!. If these are the side effects you get with Percocet, then ask for something for the nausea as well!. Percocet happens to be a very good choice for narcotic medication!. However there are alternatives such as MS Contin (Morphine), straight Oxycontin, Methadone, Vicodin and Codeine!. When you take a pain pill you should lay down and let it work on you!. Most people make the mistake of trying to continue on with their regular activities and therefore get very sick (nausea, vomiting, and dizziness)!. Best of luck with your surgery!. I hope that you have read up on the pros and cons of this back surgery as most of the time, it only makes the initial problems worse!. So most people prefer NOT to have the back surgery rather than have the chronic pain from complications and or scar tissue and adhesion's!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
