Question: Has anyone had good results from back surgery!?
I'm getting surgery in a couple of days a plate fusion in my lower back!. I keep reading about the bad stuff and results from back surgery!. Does anyone have any good results so I can stay optimistic!. ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had surgery on my back some years ago, because I got stuck in a sitting position and could only walk bent over!. It wasn't the most wonderful recovery, but afterward I could stand straight, play softball and walk without pain!. I was given some percocet and it took about a month to be pain free, but it was worth it!. Hope everything goes well with you!. TerriKWww@Answer-Health@Com
i really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you asked!. i'm an x-ray tech and have x-rayed hundreds of patients before AND after their surgery!. most of them end up worse off than before!. usually, the only ones that back surgery is successful for are the ones who are completely invalid and/or can't function on a daily basis!. if you're just tired of the pain or tired of doing the exercises, back surgery is not for you!.

My brother had back surgery when he was young, for scholiosis!. He came out with a nice scar, it suppose to keep him from becoming his normal height he would've been!. He had to wear a body cast for several months, but it all turned out well, went as planned and there wern't any complications!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
