Help! whats wrong with her!?!

Question: Help! whats wrong with her!!?
ast night my twin sophia put undiluted antibacterial liquid disinfectant on her spots [dettol] thinking it would help clear them up!.
and on the back of the bottle it does actually say you can put it on spots and pimples
but you have to dilute it with like half a pint litre of water or something
anyway
when she put it on she described it as burning and stinging, but she left it on!.

and today she has red marks all over her face where she put this dettol thing on
and i was just wondering if it ws a burn or not
and what she should do now [like put what on it]
shes complaining that it feels hot and sore
and its still bright red where she put it on

she put it on last night at around 11pm or something and its now 4!.45pm
how long will it take to fade and what should she put on it!.

im concerned because this redness isnt going and and she says it still feels quite warm and uncomfortable, like sunburn
does she need to go to a doctor!? or hospital!?

thanks everyone!

Answers:
sounds like she gave herself a chemical burn!. if its just red and kinda stings or burns she sould be fine!. itl clear up on its own!. if she hasnt already she needs to wash her face off good with cool running water to remove any more of the chemical that may still be there!. make sure to wash away from her eyes and stuff!. as long as it is still there it can keep burning through!. if it looks like its getting any worse she needs to go see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm not really sure that she should go to the hospital because it doesn't sound that bad, shes probably just have a little reaction to it, because dettol is quite strong!.
but remember that people use it around children so it's not going to be too dangerous!.
just check the back of the pack and make sure that you read the advice on what to do if you eat it etc, so you can determine how serious it is!.

the redness should go down in a few daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

well it could be a allergic reaction to one off the many chemicals in the dettol (i was surprised when i read tht it said you could putt it on ) how much did she put in the water

you would be better to be on the safe side and go to the hospital and take the bottle (with the label on ) and let them take a look DO NOT PUT IT ON AGAINWww@Answer-Health@Com

You probably don't need to go to the doctor but keep an eye on it all the same!.
Your sister has given herself a chemical burn!. I have had this too but with something unrelated!. Keep the area clean and don't fuss with it!. If you have aloe vera gel or a plant put some on the burned area!. This will help!.
Now if she spikes a fever then I would worry but other wise she will be fine and you both have learned a valuable lesson!.

She has a chemical burn!. Google it, it will tell you to wash the area vigorously!. You should see a doctor, also, just to be sure!. NEVER do this again! It's very dangerous!. Plus, the spots will either scar or return worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1] it is a chemical burn
2] treat it as any other burn - Caladryl lotion!. alternating with pure aloe vera gel, every 1 - 2 hours
3] follow instructions carefully in futureWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'd definately call the doctor!. It's not going to hurt to call and get a professional's opinion!Www@Answer-Health@Com
