Sharp Pain In Upper Left Middle of My Back???!

I have this pain in the Upper Middle part of my back on the left hand side that i cannot feel when my head is straight, however if i tilt my head forewards about half-way to putting my chin on my chest i get a sharp pain in the area described and cannot tilt my head any further without quite a lot of pain!. It feels as though at half way its pulling on something/something is caught which is causing the pain!.

It started about 3 years ago when i was on hols in the Canadian Rockies!. We were doing a lot of driving and i sat with my back in the corner of the seat and door meeting on the left hand back seat!.

i!.e!. i was sittin at 45degrees to this L if you imagine the bottom is the seat and the top line is the door!.

Last night i woke up in serious pain from it as it was aching painfully and no matter what i did i couldnt stop it hurting for a few mins when it stoped!. That isnt the first nite pain either!.

Can anyone help or should i just go see a Doctor/ physiotheripist!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
