Question: Air Mattress Questions!.!.Help I have a bad back & will have to use one!?
First off I have a bad back & neck & I have used air mattresses before which did hurt my back really bad, now for reasons beyond my control I will be staying temp!. at a friends & have to use one or sleep on the floor!.!.!. the problem is those grooves (lines built into air mattresses) or whatever you call them never make me feel comfortable & hurt my spine, please help

I've used an air mattress for several years and I too found those holes or dips unpleasant!. So I used a couple things to pad the top!. I used a egg crate foam topper, followed by a couple blankets folded and put on my side of the mattress,then a thick mattress pad over all to keep it in place!. I still feel a little of those, but its worth the trouble to be able to sleep!. Be sure there is enough air in the mattress too!. Not enough is worse than too much IMHO!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Buy a temperpedic topper the size your bed will be when you get one and put this on top of the air mattress for now!. It will help you from feeling like you are not on a air mattress!. They sell them at Sams for a good price!. Its not temprupedic brand but the same material!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Angel Hi,try putting a cuople off heavey blankets directly on the air bed befor you put the under sheet on or get a 2" thick over mattress/bedroll and lay on top!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You will be better off sleeping on the floor!. The air mattress will give you no support at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
