Does anyone know what causes a burning pain?!

Question: Does anyone know what causes a burning pain!?
in your shoulder blade!? i have had it now for 3 or 4 weeks, I thought it was just a knot or something at first but it has not gottin better!. It burns/hurts durring normal day activities!. any ideas what it could be!? no rash but white spots around the area that hurts!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Sounds like a torn or badly strained muscle as they burn when they get torn or strained, if so then icing the area for a couple of times a day for 5 min at a time should help with the pain also try not to use it (i know you probably cant stop using it all together) but rest it as much as possible!. If it does not improve in a week you might want to go to the doc but ususally you will see some improvement in a week with ice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This occurred to me, several years ago!.!.!.Turned out when I got my new job, I was lugging around a 25-30lbs briefcase on one shoulder!. When I started alternating shoulders, (or better yet, not having to carry the darn thing), it went away!.!.!.!.

Are there any activities you are doing that involve that shoulder more than the other!? If it is something that simple, it'd be great!.!.!.If not, I guess I'd see a REAL doctor, before consulting chiros, or accupuncturists!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not sure what is going on but burning pain is commonly associated with nerve involvement!. This kind of pain may not be relived with standard pain killers like aspirin or tylenol!. You don't mention your age!.!.!.!.!.!.spots!?!?!?!?!?!.!.!.!.!.think shingles!? no matter, you need to be checked out by your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I definitely can't diagnose your problem, and I'm willing to bet no one else in this community can either!. What you really need to do is go see a doctor, probably a chiropractor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
