The only thing that will stop the pain is time!.

Ice wrapped in a plastic bag, wrapped with a wet wash cloth is your best bet!. It takes about 8-10 hours for the damage to the nerves to stop, and the pain to lessen!.

The people telling you that ice is bad are wrong, it is the only thing that will help!. It will do no damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your first mistake was sticking it in ice water for that long!. I can see running it under cold tap water for a few minutes, but not for two hours!. That will only make it hurt worse!. Do not apply anything to your finger that contains any kind of oil, grease or alcohol, i!.e!. butter (yes, some people actually try this) or lotion!. This will only make the burn worse!. Aloe vera gel works very well, but straight from the plant will work also if you have it available!. In fact, any type of burn cream will work wonders!. My last suggestion would be noxzema face wash!. Sounds crazy but it works very well on sunburns are relieving the sting, pain and heat of the burn itself!. If this doesn't work, instead of going to the ER and racking up hundreds of dollars worth of bills, try to make an appt with your GP to be looked at!.
Good luck and I hope you feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to get yourself along to a walk in centre or an A&E (whichever is nearest to you) and get a dressing put on it!. They will use a cream called flamazine, and it's fab at taking the heat out of a burn and helping it heal!.
Hope you feel better soon honWww@Answer-Health@Com

If it really hurts that bad you should go to the doctor and get it checked out; the burn might be infected!. Putting your fingers in ice-cold water for 2 hours and having no relief after taking them out makes me think that the burn might be infected!.

if it's that bad you should probably go to your local a&e, as 2 hours in ice water without relieving the pain sounds like it's quite a bad burn!. it's a sunny monday evening, so at least the hospital won't be busy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd say you have your hand in water that is too cold and it isn't helping - see attached link for further advise!.
