Question: I went running today, and my muscles are sore!. What should I do!?
I had cross country practice this morning and I stretched before and after running!. My legs and feets are still sore!. What should I do!? Will a plain hot bath work!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

a hot bath will work also doing hot-cold compresses will help too take some hot and icey buscle reliver and rub it on your legs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Run a hot bath (not too hot though) and put one cup of epsom salts (magnesium phosphate) one cup of sea salt, and one tablespoon of bicarbonate soda!. Stay in the bath for 20 minutes and make sure you drink HEAPS of water!. Your muscles build up a whole heap of crap, lactic acid, urea etc and the epsom salts and sea salt help draw all this stuff out and help you process it!. That's why you have to drink heaps of water to help your body flush it through!. Make sure you do all your stretches thoughroughly and warm up and warm down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
rest your legs, since you seem to have overworked your muscles!. it's normal to be sore after so much running!.
a hot bath will help to soothe the muscles, but since they have tightened up, get a massage (or just have someone massage your legs)!. it may be really painful, but if you loosen up the muscles your legs will feel a lot better!.!.!.same applies for the feet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have lots of some kind of acid in there!. Take it easy today and tomorrow workout!. Your sore because you injuried ur muscles (dont freak out- this is how u build muscles) so take the pain reliever that works the best for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
