hello, im 16 years old and i didnt really good care of it, and i developed rsi on my elbow it had spread to my shoulders!. its been almost a year!.!.!. its not causing any pain, its just weak!.!. my doc told me its just a strain, but that was like almost 7 months ago!.!. im taking a long shower so my arm can heal quicker!. it also feels good too!. what im saying but healing fully means like!.!.!. do i get 10% strength back!.!. and i did not tear any muscles or tendon!. i strained my elbow from playing basketball everyday, not letting rest the muscles!. im 16 years old, and do strains heal fully!.!. but its been almost a year and im gettng worried!. and my massage threapist told me, my muscles are too tensed!.!. you think it'll heal fully!? thats my #1 question!. im worried because im afraid that im not gonna get 100% strength on my injured arm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes its mind over matter! If you believe you will be sick, then you will be!. In your case; if you believe that it will not fully restore then it wont!.You gotta believe that your gonna make it through this just fine!. Rome wasn't built in a day right! For sure you can if its a strain, Have you done phyiso!? you need to slowly build back your biceps and triceps as those are the muscles that pass over your elbow joint!. BUT START LOW, seriously start with like 5lbs or less!. Also, continue your massage therapy, and stretch your biceps and triceps very carefully everyday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

muscle strains take a whole lot of time to recover from that i do know!. It is worse in many ways than a broken bone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it takes a while for a bad sprain to heal ! i have sprained my knee and it has been 2 months and i am still limping but i have been back and forth to the doctor and all xrays and mris are normal they says its just a slow painful healing process because its one of them body parts u still use no matter if its hurt or not there is no relaxing them parts u always got to use them !.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to ask your therapist for some exercises that might help losen up the muscles!. You may have been 'babying' it too much and lost some muscle! Ask your doctor or therapist what your best course of action is!
