My lower back hurts, I think I have Sacro-Iliac.?!


Question: My lower back hurts, I think I have Sacro-Iliac!.!?
Do I need to see a doctor about this!? And is there anything I can do at home to help!? (I got this from tennis!. I tweaked my back while practicing serves!. And no, it's not bad form)!. Any help is appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you'd better hope that you have a sacro-iliac; it is a normal formation at the base of the spine where it connects to your pelvis!.

However, you very likely do have a strain if that's where it hurts!. The best thing to do is give it a rest for a few days and if you go back to tennis, go at it easily for a while!.

It is not uncommon for people engaging in sports that are asymmetrical, to have occasional back problems!. If you think about sports like tennis and baseball, you're frequently twisting in one direction only, and that kind of physical strain tends to strengthen muscles and ligaments on one side more than the other!.
