I feel strange..Help?!


Question: I feel strange!.!.Help!?
Last night!.!.I only had at least 4 or 5 hours of sleep!. I woke up at 6:45 to take my friend to Graduation practice!. We arrived there at 8:00am!. We were out until 5pm because mixed up situation!. During that day!.!.my body felt tired and plus I was hungry!.!.So I ate a hamburger and a hotdog from the school cookout!. That really didn't set well on me!. It was really hot today too!.!.like 100 degrees and having no Air conditioner in my car!. Presently my body feels tired and having low energy it seems!. I tried to take a nap!.!.!.but I only slept for an hour and couldn't get back to sleep!. Why does my body feel heavy and restless even though Im not sleepy!? Is it because I ate with less sleep!? Ugh!.Cant even think straight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This sounds very much like dehydration!. Please get some water or fruit juice or sports drink and push yourself to drink liquids over the next couple hours!. An 8 ounce cup every 30 minutes for 3 or 4 cups total!.
The exposure to heat and the fuzzy thinking are typical of dehydration!. When you are out in the heat like that, drink 8 ounces of water every 15 or 20 minutes; you will have more energy!. Don't totally overdo the water, you can drink too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This happens to me too when it's really hot!. And I think there is such a thing as being 'too tired to sleep'!.

You just need to take it easy!. Relax in front of the TV, and in front of a fan or air conditioner!. It might take a day or two for your body to get back to normal!. Take naps when you feel like it, but don't try to force yourself to sleep, even at bedtime!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
