I had a similar problem with my right knee!. I just kept on going and playing sport!. Eventually I snaped my anterior cruciate ligament and this led to more pain!. I would advise you to go in for the arthroscopy and go from there!.
I used, and have since been using, a natural product from Australia to rid the pain!. I was a little sceptical at first but this stuff really stops the pain!. It's used in Australia for arthritis and muscular pain relief and is the fastest selling in Australia!. It's called Elmore and is so successful that the Chinese Olympic squad are using it in the run up to the Beinng games!. I've put a few links below for you to check out!. I hate taking tablets so that is why I opyed for the topical pain relief!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The referrals to a physical therapist and podiatrist were very appropriate!. The podiatrist is going to look at the mechanics of your feet!. Many knee and hip problems are just manifestations of issues from the feet!. More than likely a set of orthotics is going to be prescribed for you!. Once they are fabricated it will place the feet into a neutral position!. That means the feet will not roll to the inside or outside more than they are supposed to!. Once that has been established then the therapist will work on correcting muscular imbalances at the ankle and knee levels and higher if necessary!. The degeneration hopefully can be stopped where it is and as the muscles get more effective in their performance the pain should decrease!. There is also the possibility of injection of an artificial cartilage that comes under different names such as Synvist!. If you do have the surgical procedure the success rate will have improved due to the strengthening of the muscles and the orthotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
