Think I need surgery?!

Question: Think I need surgery!?
Okay so this morning I punched a really hard wall a few times out of anger so I wouldn't hit my brother!. Well I have dislocated my thumb many times and have always had a bad wrist--the same hand on which I punched the wall with!.

Right now, it's now night time and I'm REALLY feeling it!. I know I dislocated my thumb because It's hurting all the way down into my back!. I think I could have broken a few knuckles because it's pretty swollen and somewhat discolored!. My veins are popping out and I can feel a slight tingling under the constant intense pain!. I can move my hand and type with difficulty so I know it's not broken, and I have a high tolerance for pain!.

This is like the 7th time I have dislocated my thumb

What do you make of it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Rest, Ice packs, 9put ice cubes in a plastic bag/wrap in a wash cloth or small towel, elevate higher than your heart to stop the throbbing pain!. Hold your arm against your chest to splint it!. Take two Advil or other anti-inflammatory as this helps with the swelling and pain!.!. If you only have Tylenol it will help with the pain!. If you think your thumb is dislocated you need to go to the emergency room !. You will not get relief until it is back in place and the longer you wait the more likely it will swell and possibly do circulatory or nerve damage!. A thumb is a critical part of your anatomy to be able to work!. The more trauma (dislocations) you have the more likely the thumb will develop arthritis later on!. If your doctor gives you a thumb/hand brace to wear!.!.!.!.!.WEAR IT!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

More like, you need to ice it and rest the wounds and STOP being so aggressive!. I don't think surgery is going to help, but a good anger management class and punching a soft pillow will do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
