Did Chiropractor cause me more pain?!
Question: Did Chiropractor cause me more pain!?
i've been seeing a chiropractor for about 5 or 6 weeks!. when i first went to see him i began to feel better!. last tues!. i went for my adjustment!. this includes the twisting of the neck!. by wed morning, i couldn't move my neck in any direction!. couldn't brush my hair w/out a burning, stabbing, tingling pain!. i was unable to do much of anything!. i went back thurs!. & told him what i was feeling & he just said "Mmmhmm" did same adjustment, then used this thing to pound on the back of my neck, it uses electric pulses!. then he said to ice my neck!. i didn't make my appt!. today due to other pain problems but i am due back this thurs!. i have trouble doing anything that requires the use of my arm!. i feel worse than i did last year after my auto accident!. i sustained whiplash!. could he have caused more pain!? or could this be a part of the healing process!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No this is not part of the healing process!. You need to see a board certified medical doctor that treats spine's!. You will probably need an MRI, if your handwriting is getting worse, you start dropping things, or the pain/numbness gets any worse, that is an emergency!. That usually means a disc is pushing on a nerve in your neck!. I have seen this situation one time in the office I work at, and it resulted in surgery!. I work for a surgeon, not a chiropractor!.
