do one thing take a loooooooong hot shower!.thn take some sleeping pills wid warm milk and cuddle wid ur fav!. teddy or pillow!.and try to stay happy not think too much b4 u go to sleep!. singing in long hot shwer is a way to det rid of thoughts in ur head and destressing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is actually quite common and I have struggled for years!. What I used to do was stay up stupidly late so that when I finally went to bed I would fall asleep almost instantly!.

But, this is a form of insomnia and so I don't advise it!. What I do, and it sounds really dull is to either read a book in total silence for like half an hour or just sit in silence for half an hour!. No TV, no Radio, nothing!. If that doesn't work then one other thing I sometimes do is to leave a film on or something!. Then I am concentrating on the film and not thinking and i do fall asleep, and when you wake up the film has turned itself off so saving you leccy!.

If you still struggle, try some herbal sleepy stuff, and build a routine before bed!. This can take up to a month before it comes naturally, but once you have aroutine try and stick to it and you will find that sleep comes easilyWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have that exact same problem!. I would say that it's best to go to bed earlier so that you have time to think and you dont start panicking about the fact that you should be sleeping!. That's always what gets me, looking over at the clock and realizing another half hour or so has passed and I'm still not asleep! One thing that used to calm me down before I went to sleep was chamomile tea, or any other type of (caffiene free) herbal tea that is infused with herbs that calm the mind!. Calmer mind=less thinking=more sleeping!. Meditation can also help to slow down your mind and relax your body, so if you're interested in that you can look it up (try to find a really reliable site though) or get a book about it!. And one last thing, some recommend that it be completely quiet around you when sleep, but this does not work for me! I always have to have my fan on, no matter what the weather is like, just because the sound of the rushing air makes me more comfortable!. If I dont have some type of droning noise I toss and turn for hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everytime I think of something I turn over and write it down!. That way I know I won't forget it and it will be there in the morning when I wake up!. So, keep making a list until it's all out of your head! You must be worrying too much! Also, I play some music when I am falling asleep and that distracts my mind away from my thoughts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try and think of something boreing, or go to bed half an hour earlier and just think for half an hour, do you have any panpipe cds they are verry relaxingWww@Answer-Health@Com
