Question: Will poking a hole or making a small cut get rid of a mesquito bite "venom"!.!.!.!.!.!?
I recently got a mesquito bite and am allergic to their secretions!.!.!.!.so a large part of the area became swollen!. Will making a small incision and draining the fluid out be as effective as it is for snake bites!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm in the same boat as you!. Antihistamines will work wonders!. Especially try an itch relief gel!.!.!.Benadryl has one that I swear by!.!.!.I think the label says on the front for poison ivy, but it's also used on insect bites!.
But whatever you do, do NOT cut it!. That will make it hurt and make it harder to treat!.!.!.can't use itch relief gel on it if the skin is broken!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow newer heard of that one before!. No! dont cut it, try rubbing it with a insect bite (forgot the word:( the stuff in a tube the doctors use)

Put some Cortaide on it or Benadryl for insect bites!. Why take the chance of causing a Staph infection by cutting the bite!. Also taking a wash cloth that has been put in very hot water and put on the bite will give relief, just becareful not to burn yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Put a live aloe plant (gooey side down) on the bite to draw out the poison, or put some baking soda or epsom salts mixed into a paste with water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
