Achilles tendonitis?!


Question: Achilles tendonitis!?
About a year ago when i started running, I noticed a soreness kind of pain in my achilles tendon, and I told my dad and he said that if it gets worse, he'll take me to a physician!. It hasn't really gotten worse, but now its getting more and more reoccurring even when I don't run I'll all of a sudden feel pain in my tendon!. 3 months ago I told my dad, and he said he'd take me to a physician, and I kept reminding him, but he said he doesn't have time!.!.!. What can I do to heal this myself!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Warm up adequately and take ibuprofen in advance of exercise!. Also, make sure your athletic shoes are in good shape and not worn out!.

You can also ice (pack) your tendon down after exercise to minimize inflammation!. (Don't put ice directly on skin--wrap towel or cloth around a plastic baggie filled with ice)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to rest from running and sport!. Don't wear flat shoes and get some shock absorbing heel inserts (from a chemist or sports shop) to add a little lift in your shoes, put them in both shoes otherwise you won't be level!. Massage your tendon with some anti inflammatory cream or gel, if you have any problem using the anti inflammatory then massage with some ordinary oil or cream!. There is very little a doctor can do for this so if you can get your father to take you anywhere, go to see a physiotherapist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible that your shoes is rubbing hard on your heel when you run!.
And tendons take more time to heal than bones-apparently-
Either you make sure your shoes does not rub on your Achilles when you run or stop running for a while!. maybe weeks before you even notice improvement!.I know it happen to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
