Have you taken specific tests to determine that your SPLEEN is aching!. Perhaps an ultrasound to discover the fact!.!.

The Spleen is in charge of "eating up" the damaged blood cells and generating new healthy ones!.!.!.
When there is/has been an on going infection in the body,
The blood cells tend to change in shape/quality then die eventually!.!.!.I wouldn't think this would happen with just a simple flue but if you feel an on going tingling sensation in your left side, just under your rib cage, it means that your spleen is a bit over active, so I would go see my doctor if I were you!.!.!.!.!.!.
I had this problem last year but it was due to my swollen Lymph Glands in my neck area because of a tooth infection I wasn't aware of!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
