Question: UTI, antibiotics and sex!?
probably a dumb question, but my doctor didn't really say!.!.!. I'm on bactrim for a UTI, and I'm halfway through day 3 (of a 7 day course of meds)!.!.!.!. I haven't had sex since being on the antibiotics, since I'm not sure if that will counteract the medication or not!. I know not to drink alcohol while taking them!.!.!.!. but can you have sex, if you aren't uncomfortable from the infection!? I drink lots of water and I always pee directly after sex!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was told if i could, to try to urine before intercourse, when i was younger i would get chronic UTI's, anyway i was always told its best to let the meds run its course, just to be safe!.

alot of times for me!.!.!.sex is what causes them!.!.!.!.I always try to pee right after too!.!.!.!.!.try to drink cranberry juice as well as lots of water!.!.!.!.that might helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
