What does vomited blood actually look like?!
Question: What does vomited blood actually look like!?
I know this is gross and I've got an appointment to see the doctor in the morning but I want to know!. Earlier this morning I was screwing around on my computer when all of the sudden I got this really bad sharp pain in my stomach (right below the center of my rib cage) and barely made it to the bathroom before I started puking my guts out!. It hurt like hell while it was happening but afterwards the pain eased up quite a bit!.
What freaked me out was the fact that I hadn't eaten anything since sometime yesterday and in the past couple weeks I've dry heaved a couple times but nothing like today!. What came up looked kind of like muddy water *not coffee grounds or I would have definitly done something about it right then!.
I called the doctor's office and the triage nurse called me back!. She said she was a little concerned and wanted me to come in this afternoon but I have an appt!. with the shrink so I couldn't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like what the nurse told you!. You could be bleeding into your stomach, causing the acids in their to react!. You could be ruptured, or slightly cut anywhere near your stomach, but is highly unlikely to randomly occur due to the stomach's thick mucus!.
