I think my bro has a clot in his head!?!

well recently my bro hit his head on the edge(which was sharp not very) of a table and it has swollen up !.it does'nt look like the normal kind of bump when you hit you head on something it really looks like a clot (you can see the blood in side) but it didnt bleed when hurt himself!.i'm kinda sure it is a clot and i want to know if he needs to get a scan or for his or have a doc check it !.do you tink its serious and if it is plz tell me the consequencesWww@Answer-Health@Com
