Question: Does anyone have any suggestions about arthroscopic knee surgery on an 18 year old female!?
My doctor gave me the choice of having it or not but strongly reccomended it and prescribed a pain medication to take when the pain was unbearable!. I do well by sucking up the pain all day and taking a pill at night to subside the pain so I can sleep!. I am very athletic and kind of scared to have the surgery but on the other hand I cant take the pain much longer!. I have come down to the conclusion that Im going to do the surgery!. Does anyone have suggestions about it or things they did to help recover faster!? This is my last summer before college and I would like to enjoy it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Arthroscopic knee surgery is fairly common among athletes, and the recovery time can really vary!. I know a runner who went for the aggressive recovery route and was running again fairly soon after his surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
