Veins in my hands appear more vivid at times; is this normal?!

Question: Veins in my hands appear more vivid at times; is this normal!?
Sometimes, mostly at work (I work at McDonalds) I've noticed that my veins in my hands are occasionally more vivid than at other times!. The best way I can describe it is that they look like hands that you sometimes see on older women, which is not good since I'm only 18!. Now, what I'm wondering is if the stress at work is causing this, is it normal, should I be concerned!? Put simply: What is going on here!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is quite the opposite of what the answer above me says!. The veins on your hands get FLAT and are hard to see when you are dehydrated!. They appear full and large when you are working or in hot weather!. The reason this happens is this: if you are working, the muscles in your hands and arms need blood and oxygen!. More blood is needed to supply the muscles so they become engorged!. If it is hot, heat is a vasodilator meaning that it makes the vessels expand and get big!. Veins are thin walled, so the more they expand, the more blood they get filled with!. It doesn't mean you are unhealthy!. It can also occur if your arms hang in a dependent position for a long period of time!. This means that if you are standing and keeping your hands at your sides, the veins will fill with blood and appear big and bounding!. It is just a natural occurance that occurs in everyone due to their activity level and heat!. Nothing to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
