What can you put on a burn?!

Question: What can you put on a burn!?
I burnt my arm by touching the inside of the oven door!. Ouch! The burn is bigger than the size of a toonie!. I've been icing it, but it is puffy and as soon as I stop icing it burns like crazy!. Hopefully it won't blister, but it looks like it might!. What can help take away the pain, also what would help it to heal and not scar!?
Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cool some Aloe vera gel in the fridge and apply that to take the heat out!.

You can find great products in natural health stores for burns!. i use 'Mebo Repair'!. My sister actually burnt the back of her hand with hot water and she used this everyday, she has no traces of a scar! It's not too expensive, about 30NZ dollars a tube and lasts a very long time!. I use it on other skin problems too, it does smell like sesame seeds haha

* helping to cool and soothe the affected area
* Supporting stem cell regeneration to assist in the growth of new skin
* helping to minimise scarring
* moisturising and protecting the area

It's also water resistant and feels good when you apply it to the burn,

I hope it heals up quickly!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stop using ice!. Don't use butter or margerine!. Run cool, not cold water and hold the burn under the water!. If it hurts, warm the water!. If you are game, take a cheese grater and grate a white potato like you are making hash browns!. Put the grated potato on the burn, unless the skin is open!. Put a cloth over the potato and keep the potato on your skin until it blackens!. If the burn still hurts, do it again!. If you do this soon enough, it shouldn't blister!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Aloe vera!!!
It's natural and safe!. Just cut off a stem and rub the liquid over your burn!. It helps to heal the burn, cut, scratch, or anything you may have!. People used this plant a long long time ago for ever need!. It also relieves you of itching and pain!. Now it won't heal in one day, but it will be worth it when it's healed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't put ANYTHING on a burn!. Continue to ice it or put it under cold water, but putting ANYTHING on it can slow the healing process!.

!.!.!.unless you have something that says it is designed specifically to heal burns!. Then, go crazy with the stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put mustard (make sure it is the original not spicy or anything else) and after the mustard is dry and you take it off you can apply aloe vera so it can help it heal faster and better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

aloe vera is DEFINITELY the way to go!. If you have the plant, just break one of the leaves and spread some of the liquid of your burn, it immediatly helps! Otherwise, the store bought creams work too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use natural ointments!. Calendula ointment is what its called!.!.!.try the natural health store!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
