Answers:
Spider bites usually show a white area in the center, surrounded by a red (inflamed) area!. Often a hole appears at the point of envenomation!. Spider bites often hurt, rather than itch, and some can feel numb!.

Rinse the area, then wash with soap, apply an antibiotic ointment and a bandage!. If the pain becomes severe or lasts more than a few minutes, or if you have any other symptoms like fainting, sweating, numbness in an arm or leg, headache, confusion, CALL 911 or get someone to take you to the emergency room!.

Take the spider in a jar or plastic bag if possible, but don't get bitten again trying to catch it!.

Spider bites often take days to heal and can become infected easily!.

Mosquito bites are raised, a little red, and itch!. They do not last very long (1-3 hours) for most people, and if the mosquito was not carrying a disease, the bite is no big deal!.

Like your Mom said, don't scratch it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Spider bites tend to get more sore and less itchy, unless it's already started to heal!.

Really it doesn't matter unless a chunk of your skin starts to die off and rot!. Then chances are that it was a spider, probably a brown recluse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
