Numbness after trauma?!
Question: Numbness after trauma!?
I was in a pretty severe car accident on Saturday!. My shoulder broke the window as the car hit the pavement!. (My shoulder/window/pavement!.
Somehow it didn't break the shoulder, however, the skin is really 'chewed up'!. Several gouges and a hundred cuts and scrapes!.
What concerns me is that the area is still numb to a large degree!.
Is this normal and how long does it last!? I do have a call in to the physician, just curious to know what others have experienced!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Completely normal!. There will be nerve damanage from a trauma of that sort!. Follow through with the doc and things will return to normal soon enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
the numbness could be due to traumatized or dead skin cells!.!.!. or lack of blood!. you should really ask your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
