Forgot about my doctors appointment?!
Question: Forgot about my doctors appointment!?
I completely forgot which is no excuse i know, But I have hav so much going on and I work all during thier office hours anyway so I couldnt have called but they called me when i was at work and now I feel really bad!. I know it messes them up and I may have to pay a fee but I really shoudlnt feel horrible right!? I mean I was going to call and apologize but my boyfriend said that would probably do more harm then good!. Is he right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would not call them and apologize!.If your Dr is like mine,they have so many patients,I am very sure you missing an appointment was not much of a factor!.!.They only start to care if it becomes a habit!.!.You are paying them for a service,why should you apologize,heck I would just call up without saying anything about the past appointment,make a new one, I don't think the office is in distress over a missed appointment!.!.Unless they have it writing a fee will be charge for a missed appointment,they cannot just charge because they feel like it and most doctors today cannot afford to be losing any patientsWww@Answer-Health@Com
First its ok hun we all have done it and it was an honest mistake!.!.!.As for the boyfriend well not sure his answer to you was helpful or more harmful!.!.!.All u need to do is pick up the phone call the office and tell them u totally forgot and ur sorry and you will try not to let it happen again!.!.!.but u should call it will make you feel better and youll still be able to make another appt with the same dr!.!.good luck and dont be so hard on urself!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
an apology is irrelevent to the office staff!. make another appointment and write down the date & time!. they may bill you for your appointment time as the office lost money due to your memory lapse -that is just good busines!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
